Whitehouse Motel

This is a nice, clean 10 room motel. If you like staying at a motel where the owner bakes cookies and bread to go along with the morning coffee, then this is the place.

It's centrally located in the Keweenaw, a perfect jumping off place to explore the peninsula. If you're a snowmobiler or ATV'er, I doubt you could find a better base in the Keweenaw. They have neat and clean rooms with cable TV, a fridge, and good beds. We've stayed at many motels in the area over the years and this one consistently ranks as the best. It's nothing fancy, this place is kind like a good bowl of soup at a diner, it's just right! If they had HBO for those rainy nights and stronger coffee, I would have rated it a ten.
