In the last five minutes of a wonderful two night stay, the desk clerk was amazingly rude to me, my son, my friend and her daughter. Then she flagged us for still being on resort property after 10:00 a.m. , it was 11:00 a.m. No where on their list of rules does it say to leave the property after 10:00 a.m. The place was 3/4 empty, you would think they would want the illusion of guests. Never again, I have never been treated that way by anyone in my life. Englewood Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce will be hearing about it.

Great sunsets, good beach, though.

I was in the office parking lot. The woman that works in the office was outside screaming and yelling at a customer. It was a beautiful Sunday morning. As we all know, voices carry over water. All I could do is walk away. With employees like this, I would not stay there. Therefore, I went somewhere else to check in and enjoy my time at Englewood.

The hotel had a great location and a great price.

The place was dirty, had roaches, and the rooms are not equipped. Two people use more than a half a roll of toilet paper in a week, not even a coffee pot, let alone a change of bed cloths and towels. I would not board my dog there.

Our latest visit was March 2007. The average accommodations are adequate. The location is great next to Stump Pass State Park. There are three miles of beaches and many restaurants, golf courses, fishing and boating.

We will return to the area March 2008 but we found a very nice cottage next to the resort for the same price. The cottage has two bedrooms nicely decorated and has all the amenities.
