Mediocre
This place I can say I will not visit again. They tried to service us lump shrimp as crab on our Steak Oscar, it was not good at all, too much Bearnaise sauce on my food to hide the flaws.

I've stayed at all three hotels and Sitka and this is the best. But it could be better. Biggest problem is smoking: There is frequently a gauntlet of smokers at the front door. Non-smoking rooms smell of stale smoke. I noticed on my most recent trip that the rooms are being renovated. This is good as they needed it. Restaurant is good. Very convenient to everything in Sitka. A great town to visit.

I like the hotel and it is close to shopping which I love to do. Sitka is a very friendly town and I would usually recommend this hotel as we have stayed in it before, but the room was not ready for us when we checked in and there was no hot water in the bathroom. I did not complain, but I should have let them know. They had very nice comfortable beds and very good food in the restaurant.
I am very likely
to return to the Westmark Sitka,a Holland America Line Company.
I might recommend it to friends.

I am a local. We met friends here the other night for a drink before a show. My date ended up having a bite to eat. Their service was terrible. The waiter got our drink orders wrong twice. He brought my date a steak with a knife, and that was all, no fork, no napkin, and no service. And, to top it all off, he was snotty. Will I go back? I think not. I can spend my money somewhere else.

Okay
Westmark Shee Atiká is a chain operating in Alaska. It has conference facilities and a restaurant. The room was a standard room--clean with a comfortable bed. They charge for local calls.
