The Westmark Fairbanks Hotel and Conference Center sets the standard for elegance, style, and service and is located in the heart of Fairbanks. In May 2004, the hotel expansion was completed and features 400 deluxe guest rooms, over 15,000 square feet of function space, a 1,300 square foot state-of-the-art "Bear 'n Seal Suite", guest laundry facilities and the Red Lantern Steak and Spirits restaurant. Please note that during our summer months of May-September, our entire hotel is non-smoking. Come and check us out! The northern lights are fantastic!

The hotels were part of Holland America Land Cruise package. They were acceptable, but nothing special. At the Westmark Dawson City hotel, the maid forgot to clean our room.
Everything was prearranged as part of the Holland America Tour. The rooms and the keys were given out on our tour bus. The hotels staffs were courteous and they seemed anxious to please.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Westmark Fairbanks Hotel.

We came in a day early - 1st leg of Holland America tour - because I'm from Fairbanks & hadn't been there for years. The room was great. bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was fair in price and quality of food and the male server was quite friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet. It was better over-all than the Westmark in Anchorage.
The personnel tried to make each individual feel as though they were important and were respected. The hotel had a very safe feeling to it. It was clean and quiet. I liked the idea that there were germ-sanitizers through out the hotel! The rooms were decorated nicely and the beds were enjoyable. The temperature was easily adjustable and the lighting was very warm and friendly.

to return to the Westmark Fairbanks Hotel.

The only negative was that there was only one very small restaurant close by other than the hotel restaurant. That could be a problem without a vehicle.
