It was a good property, with a helpful staff.

This hotel made me feel elegant: The unit furnishings were great, the room was clean and the staff was very helpful.

Overall nice hotel. The restaurant serve average food and pricey. The beds are very comfortable . Parking is a nightmare . We arrived at evening parking lot full we have to park at the hotel next door. A little inconvenience if we have to get up and go and valet parking is worst.

We had a great experience during our eight day/seven night stay at this Westin. Easy access to the Metro, plenty of restuarants and eateries within walking distance, great staff, very clean property, and just an overall nice experience. My only disappointment was with the front drive staff (doorman and valet) who need to visit a property of distinction and learn how to do their jobs. Otherwise, nothing but praise for our stay.

The rooms were nice; very clean but the staff, from the Valet guy to the front desk and Restaurant employees, A+! Even when the alarm went off at 5 am and we all met in the stair well and lobby in our pajamas, I can't think of one complaint I might want to pass on. The Westin employees at the M Street location are great, great training, great smiles, and a great job done.

It was a nice hotel, within walking distance of some of the sites we were interested in. It was within easy walk to Metro trains.

But, trying to get a taxi from the hotel was a very long process because it was on a one-way street and taxis did not come down all of the time. My internet access was not working and I had to call for service. The serviceman was not knowledgeable of the internet access and did not understand my need.

I liked the comfortable bed, spacious atrium, ease of getting a cab, and the quick walk to the Metro station. The hotel restaurant was very good, with a nice wine selection.
