Other than the disorganized check-in process, it was a great place--the rooms they vend on Priceline are only suitable for a single traveler (and imagine the consternation it would cause if the bidder isn't), but that works perfectly for me.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: It was great staying in a beautiful, historical room in a great location. I never get to stay in grand old hotels.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Westin St Francis.

When I asked where my room was since my partner had checked in earlier, the front desk attendant gave sparse directions for getting me out of the lobby. She mentioned something in the distance which I could not see and after that I wasn't sure where to go.

This hotel made me feel inspired: I had a marvelous view of Union Square, which inspired me.

I am very likely to return to the Westin St Francis.

This hotel made me feel excited: Actually, it was a wedding which I attended there, but it was a lovely space with sweeping views, and they had very comfortable beds.

The front desk clerk did not want to honor the upgrade that we had due to us since we had such a low rate. He offended us by his attitude.

There was a hotel workers' strike at the time of my visit, so it was noisy with all their picketing, especially late at night and early in the morning when I wanted to sleep. Also, the famous 'heavenly beds' didn't have all of the pillows that were advertised.

For anything I wanted or needed, they had or knew where to get it, and they apologized if they did not. They even charged my cell phone for me.
