Westin Lombard Yorktown Center Hotel - Page 1

This hotel is beautiful in addition to having some of the best customer service I have ever experienced! It has certainly set the bar for the rest of the Starwood properties, ie., Sheraton, The W, La Meridian, etc.

As an avid business traveler (unfortunately) I have traveled the world and this hotel offers location (22 miles from metro Chicago), shuttle to high end shopping via Escalade (Oakbrook Mall-Nordstrom, Coach, Bloomingdales, etc), more shopping in walking distance (Yorktown Mall- over 100 stores including, JC Penney, Target), Entertainment (olympic size pool, in addition to a bowling alley, movie theatre, etc in walking distance) and restaurants galore- in the hotel (Harry Caray) with several other restaurants at the malls including The Cheesecake Factory.

Did I mention the customer service? These individuals wow you from the moment you walk in the door! Registration is easy with individualized check-in desks. We paid $143.59 per night including taxes with a Triple A discount. This was my second time here and I thought it would change upon my return which is why I waited to write this review! I came with the ultimate critics-my family (teenagers) and they too, agree! You will miss out on an exceptional hotel experience if you do not stay here.

And no, I do not work for Starwood!

We stayed here the very first weekend after the hotel had opened and I must say that the service and the hotel are both excellent. I made the reservation through an online travel website and got a very good deal. Would very strongly recommend this place especially for families with kids.
