41 year old woman with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

My stay at the Westin in Key West was a little disappointing. We stayed there for four days and I had to request washclothes twice. The mini bar/fridge was never restocked, bottled water was never restocked (Maybe the Westin doesn't do that sort of thing, once you use it..you don't get anymore.) I tried to book a massage, which the have a big ad for on their website, and could never reach anyone. I would hit the service express button and be transferred to voice mail. Left a message to be called back the first time and even tried to call a second time. Very disappointing since that was one of the main things I wanted to do while I was there.

24 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My husband and I checked in here for our Honeymoon! Driving there was fabulous as it is in the heart of anything you'd want to do in Key West. Now, I will tell you that our first room had a bug problem! They were everywhere! But, the key to a great hotel is how they handle a problem... and listen to what happened! They had a maintenance man up there within half an hour, and asked if wanted to stay in the room, or switch - we said 'Switch!'. So, they gave us the room next door. It was a BIGGER room - with TWO balconys! It was great! It is true that a Cruise Ship comes in regularly...but we thought that was NEAT! And, they always leave by Sunset - and we were able to watch the sunset from one of our balconies! We even ate out on our balcony! You could see street performers, the pool, and the ocean, and the beautiful sunset from the room / balcony! The whole place was very clean, the staff SO nice, and it smelled SO good. The smell was White Tea and I now have lotion that will forever remind me of my wonderful Honeymoon.

Now, my husband and I like to walk to things - so we walked to the southern most point of Key West, we went on a Ghost Tour, A Booze Cruise, visited the Mel Fischer Museum, the Ripley's Believe it ot Not, Hemingway House, Duvall Street, Sloppy Joes, etc... all within walking distance and the Concierge was so good to tip us off to these things.

I would stay here again and again!

This hotel was located directly on the sea coast. It had a fantastic view from the sundeck. It was within walking distance of all the tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend them to others!

This hotel made me feel respected: It was an upper class experience. We witnessed an elegant wedding reception on the dock. The Westin resorts are quality accommodations.

I am very likely to return to the Westin Key West Resort and Marina.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The location is very good, easy walking to Duval Street, and very close to Mel Fisher's Museum. It's right on the Gulf. You can walk to Whitehead, Green Parrott, Lighthouse, and Hemingway House. It's convenient to Walgreens for snacks, drinks etc. There are shops and restaurants near by. We would stay here again.

The heavenly bed is the best feature of any Westin hotel, but our experience in this Westin was the worst.

We booked an "ocean front" room and instead got a room facing the marina with the ocean off to the side of our balcony. Instead of seeing the ocean, we looked straight at a large private yacht every single day, and what little view of the ocean we might have seen was completely blocked by one giant cruise ship after another almost in our room with announcements so loud that they woke us up every morning. Even while having breakfast outside at an ocean front table the view was completely blocked by cruise ships.

To avoid disappointment you really want an "ocean front" room with an "ocean front" view, this is not the place to stay!
