We can't wait to visit chicago again....the hotel staff, service, location and of course the Westin "Heavenly" bed made it worth the trip alone. The hotel is located near many Chicago attractions and the attentive staff really helped us find our way

My husband and I wanted to get a quick trip in to see some friends in Chicago prior to the holidays and we selected the Westin for its location, primarily. We were very pleased with the staff, room and services. The staff was really fantastic and...

I have stayed at many westin hotels, and this is one of the better. The rooms have the typical ammendities, but the service is outstanding and you are in a quality location. I would return because of the location, and the price is very reasonable...

I recently ate at the hotels restaurant, the food was absolutely garbage for the city of chicago, and the service is horrible also, typical hotel employees, must be doing it for a check, because it really shows, whoever is managing this property needs to be gone, very rude staff took forever to get served.I do not know why it was very slow the night I was in.

Stayed at the Westin River North for a long weekend 7/17-7/21. This was a great hotel. The first night we walked 4 blocks to the Rainforest Cafe. It seemed like everything was 2-4 blocks away, the free trolley stops, the water taxis, great restaurants. We walked to the Hancock Observatory and the Navy Pier (both about a mile) and it seemed like nothing since there was so much to see along the way. I would definitely recommend getting the CityPass for the museums and eating at the Weber Grill (3 blocks), where they cook everything on Weber Grills.
The room was nice and upscale looking even for a basic (Deluxe) room. Best coffee, shower and bed of any hotel period! Parking was a little pricy...$39.00 per night valet...no self parking...but you get in/out privileges which was nice on the rare occasion when we took the car out. Overall a great place especially at $125.00 through Priceline.com

The hotel lobby is dark and gloomy, the staff is very rude, the food is overpriced and not good at all.The waitstaff is extremely unattentive, the food was over salted, had it returned and when it came back smelled rotten.
I definitely would return to this hotel.

This hotel is very clean and quiet. The only thing I would mention is that the beds are small in the double rooms. 4 of us were sharing a room and sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise the beds were comfy, just small. I would definately stay...
