I was married on Feb. 17th of last year. We had our guests stay at your hotel and we had the next day brunch there. I was just trying to book a hotel to stay in Boston for the weekend and the Westford Regency popped up. I then remembered what a TOTAL DISASTER it was staying at your place.
My fiance stayed at your hotel for three nights, as did several other guests. On my wedding day, two hours before the wedding, I called your hotel to get in touch with him. The receptionist told me that he had canceled the reservation and checked out for the night before and the night of the wedding. She was not polite about it and did not even check her facts. It was devastating to be in the process of getting my hair done and have your hotel tell me that my fiance had just left me on the day of the wedding!! AND THAT WAS NOT EVEN TRUE!!! I got in touch with my fiance 20 minutes later. He was eating brunch with his groomsmen and had the key to his room, the bridal suite, in his hand. He had never gone down the reception area and had no idea what the woman was talking about!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE. No one apologized from your hotel. You are lucky we are the type of people that do not throw fits, because that "mistake" from your hotel was a HUGE mistake.
Then the next day, at the brunch, it was HORRIBLE!! By far, the worst arrangement of food. We did not even get the food that we ordered!! My mother canceled the yogurt and ordered bagels for the breakfast well over a week before the wedding. Yet, we had no bagels. The arrangement was bare, with sparse food and the decor was miserable. It looked like a spread fit for a peasant. It was embarrassing. All refunds were refused despite the error on your part, even a refund for the bagels that we never got!! And we had to pay for the yogurt even though we did not order it and hardly anyone ate any of them. There was not enough food for the whole party due to this error. It ended our fabulous wedding on a down note.
We were going to have our wedding at the Westford Regency until we found the Barn. A much better place that treated us like gold. I will not recommend your hotel to anyone. The way your hotel handled our dissatisfaction is rude and unacceptable. You treated my mother with distaste and left her feeling helpless. I am saving this message and posting it on every "guest review" that I can find on the web.
It would be nice to finally receive an apology from your hotel. I wish I could speak with the owner so that I could enlighten him/her on the way this "service based" business runs without the customer in mind. We brought in a lot of business for you with about 100 guests rooms purchased for our wedding, in the dead of winter. I am sure that your hotel would not have been booked on Feb. 17th if it was not for our wedding. Yet, you still treated us like we were third class. Unacceptable, disappointing, the low light of our wedding.
Thanks for nothing, Westford "unfriendly" Regency.
However, our wedding at the Gibbett Hill Barn, right down the road from you, was AMAZING!! I will recommend that to everyone. If only they had sleeping accommodations, then we would've had a first class wedding, no one would have told me my fiance left me the day of my wedding, and the brunch would have rocked!!
I have done some extensive traveling not only in the States, but internationally as well. The Westford Regency has to be one of the top hotels I have had the pleasure in staying. The service and cleanliness was impeccable. The hotel, rooms and...

This place was centrally located and easy to find, however, that does not go for the customer service. The hotel restaurant was extremely slow and the food was sub par, to say the least. Our nachos had random French Fries in it and the rolls were frozen in the center. Their dinners tasted like frozen entrees.
We had to switch room with our two young kids at 2:30 am due to plumbing noises in the pipes/ducts. In our next room, the heat was not working properly. We were given $20 for our inconvenience. Thats not much restitution for an over two hour middle of the night disturbance.
On the brighter side, the kids loved the pool and we were close to skiing and snow tube places.

The hotel itself was nice. The restaurant service was on the slow side but made up for that in its food quality. The hotel employees were nice and friendly and the rooms were clean.
