Just returned from a one week stay. the hotel is lovely, but the accomodations are not worth what they are charging. managed to give me a room with no internet service, and only one computer in "business center" a real pain for business travelers..also skip any saturday nights..had 2 weddings going, band so loud my hotel room was vibrating..really terrible.. i cant believe a hotel of this calibure would not be able to accomodate an event and allow its guest a good night sleep..did nothing until 11pm..after many complaints i am sure. really very disappointed..if in portsmouth stay at the courtyard you would get a better nights sleep!

We had a very rewarding stay. The hotel initially did not give us the room we had expected, but with no hassle, upgraded us to unbelievably extravagant accommodations. The desk clerk was extremely efficient and pleasant in her handling of us. We have recommended the hotel to many of our friends due to the unexpected service and professionalism of the staff.
I am very likely
to return to the Wentworth by the Sea, A Marriott Hotel & Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This hotel is beautiful, in addition to having historical significance. The main restaurant is fantastic. It has great service, a great menu, and a great staff. The other restaurant, across the parking lot, is loud, noisy, cramped, and overpriced.
It's a very friendly place with very comfortable furnishings. The spa is well equipped.
