Wave Rider Resort Hotel - Page 1

Mr. Henry Joye, Manager?, is the nastiest person I have ever dealt with at a business period. The staff has to be the most unprofessinal group of people I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. When asked to speak to someone in a position of higher authority we were advised "that will never happen". These people definitely need a course on how to operate a business professionaly. Shame on the owners for allowing this type of behavior to occur.

I chose this hotel so that i could have internet service for my job while vacationing. Within 10 min. of being there we called to say we had NO internet service in room. Immediately told we wont get a refund, And they would not move us. We were put in a room with nasty non-floor boards, Microwave falling apart, Cabinetry missing drawers, a tub that backed up when neighbors used their shower, tattered and holes in comforter on bed, a phone line dangling out of the socket with one wire (socket plate was broken). The office closes whenever they want, you can't even be at the pool beyond 10pm. Roaches were 2" long out by the pool. Wall AC make walking in hallway unbearable with the smell and heat. We were told by BOA had we walked out within 10 min of being there we would of been refunded our money by them. We did get our money back when we threatened to write to BBBureau. We got a room down the street at HOLIDAY SANDS!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM OVER THESE FOOLS. btw- i am not being paid to say this by H.S. , nor am i related to any of them. The front office staff was rude and unaccomodating! The AC did not work, the room was dirty and in disrepair, and obnoxious clientele run-amuck! I have never stayed at a hotel where no one seemed to be in charge!
