Nestled between the famous Napa Valley wine region and San Francisco, the Waters Edge Hotel is a wonderful property located 30 miles from the San Francisco Airport. The hotel is just six miles to Stinson Beach and other small coastal villages at the shores of the Pacific Ocean and the foot of Mt. Tamalpais. Stroll around Sausalito, six miles away, and browse around the art galleries, boutiques and restaurants in the town that was a safe haven for sailors in centuries gone by. The Waters Edge Hotel is also convenient to the lush 560-acre Muir Woods National Park renowned for the grandeur of its redwood forest. The Pacific seaboard architecture and exotic merchant trade of the San Francisco Bay inspire the décor and style at this non-smoking property. Skylights, vaulted wood ceilings and a rich collection of art and literature add to the elegance of the hotel. With only 23 guestrooms, travelers are afforded individual and professional attention from the expert staff. Revel in the comfort of the white feather beds and comfy chaises with hand-knitted throws in each room. Some of the rooms and suites feature private balconies with magnificent views of the San Francisco Bay. Guests will enjoy a complimentary Continental breakfast buffet served daily. Spa robes, full bathroom and shower come standard in each of the rooms. Complimentary wine and cheese is served to guests in the hotels' fire-lit lobby, or on the spacious deck with spectacular views of San Francisco Bay, Angel Island, Alcatraz and the breathtaking San Francisco skyline. The Waters Edge Hotel is convenient dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

Tiburon is a neat place to stay if you're vacationing in the bay area. I really enjoyed the location and appearance of this hotel. Nice communal deck on the bay and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
pros: VIEW!, amenities, locationGorgeously furnished, modern, comfortable... but watch out if you get an even numbered room! The marina bar next door will be noisy at night during the summer. It looked deserted at 11pm, but by midnight the...
