Horrible
The lock on the door required a series of jiggles and turns to let the door open. Carpet was torn. Kitchenette and bathroom floors were sticky. Bathroom had hair, wood crumbs and small debri on it. The counters were dusty with what I hope was only...

i was put on hold for almost twenty minutes just for a single request. i now realized why my friends asked me to cancel my reservation in the first place and go some where else. this happened on the 20th of this month approx. about 6:20 pm.

Ok this is probably my 7th time staying at the Aqua Marina and I at first really enjoyed it. I mean it had accomodation most budget hotels dont. You get a kitchenette for a really good price. But this stay was probably the most important one. It was my Anniversary and we wanted to just get away, Well For starters. They would not let me check in because it was under my husband's name, then when I asked for parking they tell me 1. That I have to pay for the parking (duh I knew that been there before. So I hand them my card since I did not have husbands card to pay for the parking 2. They have no parking remotes as the hotel was booked solid YET the parking garage was completely empty on all floors. I had to run down stairs and let them know everytime I wanted to drive somewhere and run in when we returned..and yet still made me pay full price for the parking what a joke. Then to make matters even worse. when we go to check out they turned around and charged my card the full stay instead of just the parking since we paid for everything on line a week before we even checked in. When I tried to call and get my money back noone could bring my reservation back up to confirm it was paid twice. yet I am looking at two separate back statements showing two different charges for the same day same hotel. I was beyond pissed. SO I wrote the most nasty letter I could muster up and Vow never ever to return to the worst hotel in Waikiki... I am a local what is up with that.. Hello what happen to our ALOHA for shame.... People dont waste your hard earned money on crap go stay at the Pagoda it is way better.

Stayed 2 days before boarding a cruise ship. location was good, walked to waikiki beach . Room was nice, good ocean view. desk clerks were helpful. close to restaurants and the Ala Moana Center. Would stay here again.
