My room was large but it was a corner room and the noise from the street was loud. I could not use the lanai.

I liked the way they took care of our luggage and us until our room was ready.

The location is nice, only one block from the beach and a few blocks from the zoo. Staff is very friendly.

It didn't exactly have an ocean front. You could barely see the ocean if you hung off the balcony. We paid extra for an ocean view.

I believe that the Marriott International staff goes out of their way to make you're away from home lodging as comfortable as possible. We believe that we would rather spend a little more, than find out that the area is less than satisfactory. We have relied on Marriott for their service, comfort, and location. Sometimes it is a little more expensive, but we enjoy Marriott because they are clean with fresh sheets and a can do attitude. However, they are at times a little bit above our price range.

This hotel was recently acquired by Marriott and renovated and updated. I had stayed at this location (under the old name) at least a half dozen times in several visits to the islands and it serves my purposes perfectly. It did then and it still does.
