We arrived at the Resortquest Pacific Monarch to be told we had been upgraded to a Condo at 444 Nahua St. An envelope with 2 keys was given to us and we were told 2 blocks that way. 444 Nahua St was under renovation in the foyer and we had no idea how to get into the condo building as all doors were sealed because of this. Lucky for us a resident came and let us in and showed us how to use this swipe gadget. The condo smelt and had some new paint splashed around to make it look better, bare pipes in the wardrobes & moud in the bath. We were disappointed as there was no clerks or front desk for advice. We were told that we were upgraded with free parking and internet but all of this is available to all who are at 444 Nahua St. When we checked with the Pacific Monarch they told us it depends on who takes the reservation as to if it is handed out for someone to cash in with their condo. So beware and ring the hotel you want to be with direct, that is what they told us to do next time. When we rang the lady who had booked us into the condo and told her we were not happy, she told me out right "To Bad" and hung up her name is Linda so beware. This 444 Nahua St is back on the canal and we had spent weeks and hours deciding where we wanted to be only to be where we did not want to be. BE WARE and RING before you leave.

Horrible
The suite I had booked through Waikiki beach Condos in California (jeanie) was the absolute worst decision I ever made. The room hadn't been cleaned probably since the creation of the property 30+ years ago. I suppose Jeanie left her manners back...

We stayed in a one bedroom condo. The room itself was spacious. There were many great features such as internet access, washer and dryer in the room and lots of closet space. There is also free covered parking.
Unfortunately there were many things that were not satisfactory. The room was very well used. The carpet was filthy, the light was burned out in the frig. The kitchen was very poorly stocked as far as cooking utensils. The worst thing was the bugs. We had little bugs on the kitchen counter, on the kitchen walls, on the living room wall and the bedroom wall. The dishwasher was FULL of bugs. They sprayed the room and it improved alot but did not get rid of them entirely.
We only had maid service twice in a two week period.
I would not recommend renting from Waikiki Beach Condos. There are some condos in this building that are owned by other people and they are better. Do your research.
this place was convenient, reasonable and suite was spacious! we were very pleased with everything! cute kitchen! GREAT views!Room was clean and staff was...

we definitely will not be going back to 444 nahua. we were a family of 4 traveling for leisure and stayed there the third week of January '08. we were fortunate enough to have a suite that was accessed via an internal hallway and not an external access unit (very daunting if you are on an upper floor - especially if you have small children). The railing is 3.5 feet high, metal and open to the elements. the unit looked to be recently renovated, however, we did not receive the "extra large lanai" that we paid for. the common area hallways are in dire need of upgrading and the smell of cigarette smoke permeated the unit (we are non-smokers) which made sleeping at night difficult. not to mention the jack hammering which started at 8:30am every morning on the 5th floor...yes 5th floor, we were on the 15th and it woke us up. our water was shut off for "repairs" one morning at 9am. we were given notice in the elevators, however, still difficult if you have young children and no water for washing, cooking, etc. the penthouse pool was a joke including the drunks that were hanging around it all day playing loud music and pretending to be gangsters. all and all a very bad experience. we will never go back again. would be good for single, 20 somethings (i am in my 30's) looking for a budget unit in the city. definitely not for families.
It was a nice spot for a group of swimmers to stay while on a 16 day training trip. We lucked out and got a room with a nice balcony, others on the team were not so lucky and were stuck with a two foot open area outside that they could barely stand on. The room was nice, but obviously worn by lots of travelers. The kitchen was close to falling apart and my cooking skills were limited by the fact that two of the burners on the range didn't work. The free wireless was nice, but the elevators were very slow and scary, not something you want when you're going to the 18th floor. The view was very nice and the sun was in the room all day. Overall, a nice location if you're not looking for a ritzy place.

We travel every year to Hawaii and have stayed at several hotels as well as 444. We keep on coming back to 444 Nahua for overall value and convenience. The one bedroom suite we had this year was spacious, recently renovated with lovely mountain views. The unit had all the amenities including washer/dryer with a free secure car park. The pool area appears to have been recently upgraded. This is a condo complex but we still had our rooms cleaned and linen changed twice a week. We will be back again next year.

Excellent
Although I haven't yet stayed at the property but I felt compelled to write a review of Jeanie. She is the agent that I booked the Accommodation’s with in Hawaii. She has been so helpful. I am using the property for a business trip. My company was...
My family and I went to Hawaii, not our first time, but this time we didn't have any reservations. We're military and normally stay at the Hale Koa but it's peak season, so we jumped on a military plane anyway. Our first night we got into an Army...

The room had dust on everything, paint chipped off the walls, and the kitchen cabinets hung by a hinge. I had to inhale a burnt plastic smell throughout the evening. My husband woke up violently ill. I reported this to the owner the next morning. She yelled at us and told us we were lying to her and hung up! We checked into another hotel after looking for vacancy all night. We never got any sort of reimbursement, so our vacation cost was double. Save yourself lots of money on a replacement vacation, and take this as a first hand experience.
