A good location between Lexington and Park Avenues, this intimate hotel recently underwent a number of renovations. The rooms and suites are comfortable and have some great ammenities including DVD players and Aveda bath products. The bathrooms in some rooms can be on the small side though. The W Living Room is a nice place to sit and read or chat and they have board games too. Icon Restaurant has a private dining room and romantic outdoor courtyard, and serves high-quality food. The bar is dark but a good place to socialise, as its attracts an easy-going crowd in the evening. The staff are very knowledgable about where to go and what to see, so it's worth asking if you're not sure.

35 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel had a fabulous location. I was upgraded due to the check in time availability of our room. We received an excellent suite. The smoking room was insanely scent free due to a wonderful air ionizer, which I later called the hotel about to find out what brand so I could purchase one myself.
Even though my friend and I were staying for a pleasure trip we were treated as if we were the utmost important business customer.
I am very likely
to return to the W New York - The Court.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
