The staff is unfailing friendly and helpful. They generously upgraded our room when the baggage handler learnt I was celebrating my birthday. We were also given a free cocktail and snack in the bar.
Their friendly and efficient service made me feel welcome.
I am very likely
to return to the W New York.
I might recommend it to friends.

This W hotel was an older building but very clean and comfortable. Some electrical fixtures and light fixtures were broken and the room was small but nicely decorated. The lobby and the lobby bar were very noisy at night but I did not have to stay in these areas. There was a lot of fun going on! The regular bar had not enough seating for the crowds. I would stay at this W hotel again but for the age of the building.
The hotel was reached easily by cab and it had rapid elevator service to my floor. My favorite restaurant is right behind this hotel. I was happy to come and go to this W hotel.
I am very likely
to return to the W New York.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I did not like that the suite was the size of two small closets shoved together and the bathroom was literally too small to dress in. The shower in the bathroom was too small as well and it had insufficient water pressure and hot water temperature. The service was good and the bar was excellent. The concierge is very helpful, but be sure to tell them you do not mind walking since otherwise they send you off in a cab you might not need and might actually take longer than on foot.
The desk service is quick, friendly and thorough.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the W New York.
I would not recommend it to friends.

It is a very convenient location. Other area hotels and shops are nearby as well. It has very good food and an adept technical staff. We had an all day presentation there and the staff and the employees helped things run smoothly. The top floor offers split level loft style accommodations which are a dream and I love the fresh apples in the room. The bathrooms are also great.
The room was gorgeous as it was two floors. The bathroom products were from Bliss and the TV's and the other amenities were high end.

to return to the W New York.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
pros: Bliss toiletries, location, nice common areasI was very excited to stay here, as I"ve seen how great the W hotels look from the outside, and how good some of their restaurants are, but it was not a great stay at all. First, the staff upon...
