We ordered room service for breakfast twice and we never received it. Finally we were offered a complimentary great breakfast the second day, but it arrived an hour late. The server of the food told us we never ordered it. That was very insulting. Other than that the facilities and the location were spectacular as was the rest of the staff.
The elevator needed your room key to get up to the room level. There was always a big security guard out front.
I am very likely
to return to the W New Orleans - French Quarter.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Everything was great. Well appointed room - awesome glass shower and balcony. Very comfortable bed. Close to everything including Harrah's and Morton's Steak House (both of which were also great) and overall a really outstanding hotel. Room was a little hot the first night, but they cooled it down when we asked. I personally think of this hotel as a romantic couples spot, but last weekend there were single women everywhere. I will definately stay here again. Take plenty of parking money for this premium location.

Good
I really loved this property, it's proximity, the decor. The staff there was very helpful on the 8-10 day trips I was there, it felt like a home away from home. I did enjoy the room located back by the courtyard most as it was so peaceful.
Right in the moddle of the French Quarters of the Old Big Easy, this place looked like a cross between French Provincial and Spanish Rennaisance. Antibellum. I believe that's the word. We had hoped for better, but we were judging the book by...

It was a beautiful hotel, with a nice and friendly staff. But they changed the locks on our door while we were staying there, we were woken up by construction workers and then not able to leave the room with the door locked nearly all day. The hotel would not move us to a different room or refund our money.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the W New Orleans - French Quarter.
I would not recommend it to friends.
We found the whatever/whenever policy

Mediocre
We found the whatever/whenever policy to be a great marketing tool only. We had reserved one of the nicest rooms in the hotel for the benefit of having a hot tub with our room. When we got there, there was no hot tub. Beyond this little mishap,...
