Okay
Though I recognize the weather had only recently turned chilly, the lobby was freezing, and I noticed many hotel guests walking through the lobby w/arms folded and shivering. I found the room was less than flawless. There was black mold on the tile...

Excellent
What the room itself lacked (ours was in the old section and not renovated) in charm, the rest of the hotel made up for in spades. The concierge was tremendously helpful in finding us great things to do and places to shop, and the service from...
55 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The location and comfort were good. The hotel was beautiful and the staff responsive. However, they were slow and lacking concern. The room was not cleaned the first day of my stay when we returned at five p.m. The same thing on the second day.
I am not likely
to return to the W New Orleans.
I might recommend it to friends.

I liked the furnishing and decor. The noise level was a bit high. Its a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the bagels and drinks offered in the morning, although it was a bit pricey.
The front desk staff was friendly, but not too friendly. Calls to the front desk for a wake-up or other questions were answered with a smile and fully. The staff at the breakfast bar went the extra mile to make for a nice breakfast.
I am very likely
to return to the W New Orleans.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
