My wife and I stayed here on our anniversary and we were quite surprised at the "strange decor." I would describe it as Vampire Sheik. Everything is very dark (literally no light) and decorated in black, purple and gray. Strange club music playing...
LIKES: The best thing about this hotel is it's location & the great customer service. The food at the hotel was great for breakfast and okay for dinner or after hours meals. The employees that worked in the hotel were extremely friendly...

The beds are great and the rooms small but who goes to Chicago to hang in a room. Well appointed but be aware that the hotel is located in the financial district and some to the stores in the immediate vicinity were closed. Close to transportation....
