Voyageur Lake Walk In Motel

This is your basic low-tech motel right out of the 1960's. nothing fancy about it, but the attendants are friendly, the rooms are clean the water is hot--through several morning showers, too.

and, when i called later, realizing i had left my favorite pillow, they kindly and promptly mailed them home to me (c.o.d., of course), which is a lot more than you can say for a lot of places.

i would stay there again, and certainly recommend it to anyone venturing to Duluth.
