44 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I had a beautiful view from a room that overlooked Vondelpark. Its a short walk to the tram stop, and I had a quick check-in.
The neighborhood appears to be safe and quiet. Their quality is in n line with the price. The negatives: small rooms, a funky smell in the hallway, boring breakfast food, and an indifferent front desk staff.
42 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I was here on business and my client booked this hotel for me. And I didn't want to seem ungrateful...but it was sooo bad that I requested to move to another hotel. The internet (kinda important for business travelers) rarely worked. And although they have said they renovated, it certainly wasn't soundproofed. I could hear noise from the hallway, the lobby (I was on the second floor, around a corner!), really loud music from the outside "garden", other rooms, etc. And when I finally complained, they didn't seem to know what to do. I was without internet for 2 days! I wouldn't recommend this hotel and now, neither will my client. Definitely not a value!
