This is a special inn. It is a contradiction in motion, yet comfortable, inviting, and most of all, memorable. The rooms have everything you need, and your eyes are filled with details- Irish quilt, lace curtains, slate (heated) floors, medieval...

Okay
Very charming B&B in Ann Arbor and beautiful mansion - line street. Room was lovely (bed was a bit squeaky); breakfast nice. We also stayed at Labyrinth B&B in MI.
I loved staying here--great conversation around the breakfast table, a fireplace in my room for the chilly evening. I just wish I'd been able to stay longer! The owners/staff were wonderful people and very helpful! Will stay again if I...

The rooms and service were amazing. Furnishings were authentic and understated from the thick quilts on the beds, working antique phone to the heated slate floors. We truly felt that we had stepped back in time to a Bavarian or German Guest House. ...
40 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
terrible experience. The premises were very clean and tastefully furnished but the owner made us feel like we were hassling her and was generally difficult to interact with. When my husband and I requested a room with a bathtub she told us that under no circumstances were we to use the bathtub "as a playground." We found this highly offensive as we are both respectable adults, not 5 years olds. Also our room was cold and when we told her this in the morning, she became highly combative. The people we ate breakfast with also told us their room was cold. This is a beautiful place but I did not feel welcome at all. Watch out for the owner. Judging from other reviews on multiple websites [...], my experience is not an isolated incident. I would have preferred to stay at one of those corporate hotel chains where at least the staff is courteous to its paying guests.
I am not likely
to return to the Vitosha Guest Haus.
I would not recommend it to friends.
