Mediocre
Typical Parisian Hotel, rooms are small and decoration a bit overloaded ... but this is just a question of taste ... you like it or not.Staff is friendly and breakfast simple but ok.Location is fine, metro station is at 5 minutes walk and Champs...
Booked a Superior room for our wedding anniversary - what a letdown.
Arrived after a late flight to find a poky room - 12" between the bed and a cupboard with a TV on it. Had to move chairs into bathroom to open tiny wardrobe.

The hotel is located in the mix of residential area and commercial area. in the morning, I could pick up pastries, I could walk to the metro subway with local people, I could stop by the supermarket and get cheese for the lunch next day.
I remember they have cute paintings to decorate the inside of the elevator (didnt know elevators could be that romantic, and the elevator actually can barely hold 2 people, you have to almost hold each other). One night we wanted to make soup (frozen) and the restaurant constantly sent over hot water to our room. Would I go back? Yes.

Although still in Paris, the hotel is a bit north of the city center, you can easily hop on a bus near the hotel or walk to the train station to get to the city center. The rooms were quaint and clean, they had a really cozy feeling, a Paris charm.
We really enjoyed the service, the hotel owner e-mailed us before we arrived and ordered chocolates and champagne for our room upon our arrival. It was a nice touch of class. You won't find a gym, fine dining or a great view, but you're in Paris, there's plenty of that all over the place. This room will save you some money to spend on shopping.

Horrible
The rooms were nice enough. But the view out of our window was 9 train tracks. Along with a few people camped out on the street in tents. Then the Rome station is a good 15 minute walk plus even longer on the metro to get to main sites. The staff...
