While snowmobiling in Michigan's Lower Peninsula last year, my friends and I stayed at the Victories Hotel, adjacent to the Victories Casino, in Petoskey, MI. This hotel offers a myriad of opportunities year-round to have outdoor fun, with sand dunes, ski hills, golf courses, snowmobile trails, and Lake Michigan within a stone's throw from your room. With rooms starting from around $79.00 mid-week, we were pleased on choosing this hotel. While smaller than some of Michigan's other casino hotels, Victories Hotel is the perfect size for a weekend getaway. I was impressed by the waitstaff and especially how they were nice enough to even valet our snowmobiles each morning and evening! The beds were extremely comfortable and rooms were very spacious and yet cozy. I would recommend Victories Hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the "tip" of the Lower Peninsula.
