Wow, a real dump which is also expensive and totally overrated. Weeknight cost $145.00 + $16.00 vehicle parking + taxes/tips. Small room with ancient bathroom, etc. 19" TV with only 10-12 channels available(duh). Flloor had 15/25% slope(because of age of building I guess). $205.00 weekend cost-a real loser based on the accomodations(or lack thereof). Check in was a front desk in lobby. Never again!!!

Its a great location, has a wonderful bed, and great extra touches. The valets are exceptional.
The bellboy and valet explained the hotel to us upon arrival and offered tips and suggestions. He let us know of planned times for specials and directions to local restaurants.
I am not likely
to return to the Vendue Inn Charleston.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
