From the very beginning this was a horrible experience. We came to visit from California (I guess were just used to great hospitality from "destination" locations). The place seemed dark and the staff was unknowledgeable and downright rude.
We made the mistake of dining at Sweetwaters the first evening. The service was bad, the food was terrible. It made me ill paying $25 for a salmon fillet that had the consistency of a shoe, and three green beans. My husband was brought the wrong entree.
Upon arriving in our room we both felt like we had been ripped off. There was garbage in the halls that was there our entire stay, and our room felt outdated and dark. We wanted a place with a pool but I didn't feel comfortable using it. It just seemed dirty. I wonder how the management can sell this place and sleep at night. $139 a night? Are you kidding me? I would have still felt ripped off if I had only paid $1.
