We are only minutes to the Ventura Marina, Port Hueneme and Channel Islands National Park for boating and sport fishing. Santa Barbara and Ojai are a short drive away. After a long day, you can go for a swim in our heated pool or relax in our spa. For your convenience, there is a restaurant on the premises. Good
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is good. Parking is a bit difficult when they are sold out. The hotel is pretty old and shows it in some ways. This place is nothing fancy but it is a good place to stay if you are only looking...

The hotel is located in downtown ventura, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. We liked the free breakfast. The staff was nice and very helpfull. We rarely used the car, as everything is so close. The price for the room was far better than ...
80 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business
We stay frequently at the Vagabond Inn hotel in Ventura because we are affiliated with an art gallery there. The two day desk clerks are outstanding, friendly, efficient and always helpful. The room rates are an excellent value, especially for a seaside city. We tried other motels and hotels in the area, but this is the best buy for the money. Hot coffee is always available and the continental breakfasts each morning are more than adequate.
The staff greeted us warmly, they asked about our health and our current art exhibit. The day desk manager had our check in information at hand and completed the process quickly and efficiently.
I am very likely
to return to the Vagabond Inn Ventura.

My husband lived in this hotel for six months of the year for a year and a half because he worked out of town. I visited him in it a few times. I am very familiar with this hotel. What I liked about this hotels that it is nicely landscaped, it is across the freeway from the ocean and there is a walking path close by. The front desk people are always kind and helpful. The room and the bathroom are clean. But the neighborhood is scary.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Vagabond Inn Ventura.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
