First impression at check-in was not bad. Then I opened the door of my stinky, dingy room. One of the pet friendly rooms as I was there for the Long Beach dog shows. No alarm clock. First morning opened the curtains to check weather to find that security lock was off window and window was left open. Next I found a plastic bag with a glass object that I am sure was a crack pipe(like a rattle snake you just know what it must be) I brought it to the office to be be told "some people will do anything for a discount." Right I flew across country with it in my luggage! What an insult.

Gets better. A women who had been sleeping in her car jumped the curbing to crash into one of the rooms. After all this I have been offered one free night!

The facility was far below the Vagabond hotel usual standards. The neighborhood seemed unsafe.

The front desk was very nice. The air conditioner did not work in the room we got so they were not very accommodating. The maid was rude.

The check-in was quite lengthy. My room was not as nice as previous stays in other Vagabond facilities.
