I will never stay at a Best Western ever again, nor will I ever advise anyone to stay there. In short, every time we left the room to go get something for lunch or supper, someone came into our room & stole our clothes! Stay away!
Unsure how it will be when Vagadond takes over but people inchagre were excellent and very helpful.I am looking forward to my next stay then I will beable to evaluate this...
60 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I was in a British and Irish group touring the south west and staying at 9 hotels in 14 days.
This hotel was definitely the worst of the lot. Porterage had been arranged but was not supplied on arrival, and only supplied grudgingly on departure. The party was not given first floor rooms as promised and in my room the smoke detector had been torn from the wall and the bedstead (not the linen) was dirty and soiled.
Several people had to send their food back in the restaurant because it was cold or undercooked. In the morning the second person to ask for cereal was told "if you all ask for that, we'll run out of bowls." They eventually ran out of milk, too.
I heard a member of staff say that they had told the manager to stay at home that morning to avoid our complaints. The management of this establishment is overdue for replacement.
Its convenient to the freeway without the noise. They have clean, comfortable rooms, a friendly, helpful staff, a lovely green area, gardens, and pool.

Okay
The outside of this hotel does not look like it would be a Best Western "type" hotel. They need to improve that. The area of this hotel has ALOT to be desired. Very old and run down. Our hotel room inside was nice enough but the a/c did not work...
