Okay
by a traveler from Houston, TX
58 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

The TV remote and floor ice machine were poor, but the complimentary breakfast was unique and very good. In the business area, only one computer was working and people were waiting. They needed a complete office software package, not just spreadsheet.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Red Lion Hotel Baton Rouge.
I might recommend it to friends.

Okay
by a traveler from Stoughton, WI
56 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

It was an average hotel experience at Comfort Inn University, no different than most places at which we have stayed in the past ten years, or in recent memory.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Red Lion Hotel Baton Rouge.
I might recommend it to friends.

Horrible
1 reviews  37 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business

This hotel is absolutely horrible. It used to be a Comfort Inn. Under new ownership and management this hotel is the worst hotel!

The staff are liars. They tell the customer one thing and lie to management to save their jobs the next day. Of course, the management lies as well. They took my number and told me they would further investigate and call me back. Over 2 weeks later they say they never said they would call me back, and that they resolved their issues with me.

Question? If you stayed at a hotel and found it unsatisfactory how much would it take you to leave the hotel knowing you would have to travel over 3 hours to find another hotel room. It must be bad to make a man willing to do this, traveling past midnight, knowing he would have to travel just as far to get back to finish his job!

The hotel refused to reimburse the 67.80 to his account because he checked into the room. His nose began to burn, and he had trouble breathing. Within leaving 10 minutes from the hotel, he was fine again. Sounds chemical to me. Would you be willing for them to spray something in there to make the smell all better?? I think not. It was already bad!

The management checked the room the next day and said it was fine. They didn't have any problems with the smell. The fact that a customer did doesn't phase them. The fact the customer left and drove over 3 hours to another hotel to sleep doesn't phase them either. The refuse to credit the money.

Run Away! It's not worth it!

I am not likely to return to the Red Lion Hotel Baton Rouge.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Perfect
by a traveler from Fremont , CA
54 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business

This hotel made me feel secure: It was in a safe area, and there always seemed to be people in the lobby area. The doors were secured and needed key access after certain hours.

I am very likely to return to the Red Lion Hotel Baton Rouge.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
