The staff is friendly, the employees bring their dogs to the back office. There is birds in large cages. I LOVE the feel of this hotel...and the location is so convenient.
The hotel was completely booked. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The van drivers went out of their way to help us. Our room was lovely and you can't beat that location and price.

I stayed at this hotel Feb, 15-17 -2008. The rooms were not up to standard. The staff the Front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and the shuttle service were very unprofessional. Several expensive items were stolen from my room. I will never stay at this hotel again. I feel that background checks should be done when hiring new employees. To protect the guest.
This hotel is the best in the valley. The location is excellent. The rooms are large and always spotless. The staff is awesome. The maintenance department really stands out the most. The chief engineer has done a wonderful job with his staff. This...
I'm suprised at some of the other reviews I have read about this place. When compared to other hotels in the area you can't beat the Twin Palms. I make frequent business trips to Tempe and have stayed at the Holiday Inn, Best Western, Quality Inn,...

Horrible
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed stayed at. If you get what you pay for this place should charge a dollar, but instead they feel the need to overcharge you for a horrible room. The room smelt disgusting, the entire building was dated, you...

Recently I stayed at this hotel; it was an unforgettable experience. We had arranged "special rates" for $59 for over 20 rooms only to see that those are their normal rates.
Two of the floors were "under construction" and only one floor, the 7th, had ice, with the temps in the 100+ day and night.
The weekend stay was for a few birthday celebrations, which the hotel knew. Airline staff was roomed on the same floor as the party people and they profusely objected to our partying.
The desk staff, for the most part, were excellent although we did have major problems with the evening clerk.
The epitome of my stay was the racial slur letter left on the public computer in the lobby and the manager taking 4 hours to call me back when brought it to the attention of the desk staff.
I would not stay here even if I had to stay in the park in the heat and would not recommend anyone else stay here.
