On April 2, 1990, Donald J. Trump unveiled the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort. Unprecedented in craftsmanship and opulence, the awe-inspiring architectural masterpiece is filled with the finest carpets, chandeliers and works of art in the tradition of the world's most grand and enchanting palaces. Among the billion dollar property's most remarkable statistics is that the hotel have One of the largest casinos in the world, with slot machines, gaming tables, poker tables and a state-of-the-art simulcast facility. $14 million worth of German crystal chandeliers, including 245,000 piece chandeliers in the casino alone, each valued at a cost of $250,000, and taking over 20 hours to hang. 4 1/2 times more steel than the Eiffel Tower.

We had to change rooms in the middle of our stay due to a glitch in the complementary room arrangements. I felt like a second class occupant because our rooms were complementary. The staff was very friendly and tried to help.
One could not enter the elevator area to go up to a room unless you could show security a room key. I knew most people in the casinos were not guests there so I felt they kept me safe.
I am very likely
to return to the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This is the only hotel that would fit well in Las Vegas. Its very flashy with a ton of lights and the casino is just humongous. The staff was very informative and can help with anything you want to do in Atlantic City. Room was nice and clean.

As a frequent visitor to Atlantic City and to several of the area casino/hotels, I was very disappointed with the Taj.
We were booked into a suite and were sent to a standard room, after several phones calls and trips to the concierge, we finally got our suite. It was still under par! It was a non-smoking floor and the smell in our room was horrible. We had to call for our room to be cleaned at 7 pm and had to wait until 10 pm, and they never showed all day!
We were under the impression that a Trump property would have been above and beyond many of the other properties we have stayed at. It was a slightly unpleasant weekend getaway.

I attended show at this resort on 11/18/06, inside of The Mark Etess Arena. I spent extra money to be on the floor of the show, only to be squeezed in like a sardine in a can. I had to watch the entire show on sitting on one half of a chair because it was so crammed together by the resort staff. In closing, I would like to say that the resort itself is nice, but spend your money on shows somewhere else.

Mediocre
As soon as you walk into the Taj Mahal Casino from the Boardwalk, you are assaulted by sales representatives from Fairfield Resorts. It seems as though they won't take no for an answer once they are acknowledged. If you aren't interested in a...
pros: Rooms, Slot Machines, BoardwalkI enjoyed staying at this hotel, the rooms were great and the casino was so much fun. Tons of slot machines to try your luck with. And the casino/hotel leads to the boardwalk , so it was beautiful.
