Troutbeck Historic Inn Conference Center Resort

I liked the good location and the historic look of the hotel.

My stay here was absolutely serene. When I first entered my room, after an exhausting plane and 2 hr. drive from Hartford, and saw there was no television, my first thought was "Oh, no"! But the room was huge, the four-poster king size bed, with all the down comforters and pillows, big tub, windows you can crank open for air, living room and office space in the room, and guess what, I read a Reader's Digest. It is in the old rustic style. I had a glass of wine, read a little, and the next thing I knew it was morning. Did not need that TV and they should never put one in. Breakfast on the windowed patio, heavenly. This is definitely a place you should go to get away from it all, feel at peace with yourself, and just enjoy your surroundings. Go there. You won't regret it.
