When we checked in, we were upgraded to a two-story suite at no extra charge. The decor was outdated but we were not charged extra for it. It was very relaxing after driving fourteen hours that day.

The location was fine as we had reservations for a show across the street. We were treated well and satisfied with our stay.

Lots of tables were closed even when many people were crowded around those that were open. It has a great location on the Strip. The comps are great. You must join the players club if you're planning on staying here and gambling.

The Tropicana is in a great location. It is easy to get around to other hotels on the Strip. It was a great value for the money spent.

They treat their players very well. I called a slot host as mine was not there but another person took care of me. He recognized me from previous stays with them. They show they know you.

The hotel is in good shape. The staff was very good. The hotel needs some updating to compete with other hotels near them, however, their room prices are lower than the hotels near them. I enjoyed my stay and would go back again.

This hotel made me feel welcome: At check in the agent gave me what I asked for as far as rooms with a view for me and my two grown offspring. All three of us were happy with our rooms.

This hotel needs to be renovated. It's got a very stuck in the Seventies feeling and the cigarette smoke was unbearable. The staff was nice and thoughtful but everything felt very blue collar. The people on speed in the room next to me, a junior suite, were up talking non-stop all night. I could have easily participated in their conversation. Also my shower could not hold its temperature. However I loved the big bathtub and the view from my room! Also the front desk sent me a birthday cake which was very thoughtful.

The pools are really great. They have three Jacuzzi's plus three pools. They have a very friendly staff all around.

The pool closed too early in the early evening, the fees for using the safe were not visible and the walk to the hotel room was extremely long. Other than that, it was an aging hotel in Las Vegas that was average in all the other categories.

This property was in need of a complete refurbishing because of age and lack of maintenance.

The hotel is a bit run down. It seems obvious that they are just waiting until they demolish the place and build a new one. The location was great and the rooms were ok. You can do better for roughly the same price elsewhere.

We paid a great price for the location.

The ashtrays in the rooms were not emptied.

My mom would visit Vegas almost every summer when I was a teen around June or July & the Tropicana was her choice of stay. Upon her return, she was always excited & so was I ready to hear of her trip. I'm 34 now, my first time trip to Vegas although old & slightly out dated I was pleased. I would try a different hotel next time but with mom’s old memories & my new, I had a great time.

I loved that the poolside bartender was a good server. I hated the fact that cigarettes were very expensive.

It is a very nice hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

It is centrally located for places we like to frequent. It’s within walking distance of the restaurants we like. We don't gamble so we can't tell you anything about that. The room price is good and the rooms are clean.
