29 year old with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and this was the first (and last) time that I will ever give them a cent of my money. From the minute that I walked in it was a terrible experience. Not only was the staff rude and inconsiderate but the room was falling apart. After our 3rd room change (due to the first one being unsatisfactory and the 2nd one hadn't even been cleaned yet) we found out that they had no air conditioning in the area that we were staying at. Not only that, there were no windows to open. So, no air, no window....very, very stuffy. The TV remote didn't work, so when we turned the TV on, we found out that we couldn't change the channel or the volume (which was set at blaring!!!). The chairs were ripped, the ceiling was falling off. When I checked out and spoke with the manager on duty, the only thing he could say (without a concern tone in his voice) was..."well, the rooms are 51 years old". Update, renovate...whatever you have to do to satisfy the guest.
