Tropicana Inn and Suites Motel

Our room was infested with bugs, the pool closed at 9:00, which after being at Disneyland all day you want to have a swim. But by the time you get back to the hotel the pool is closed!

The hotel's website is deceiving, the internet is $12 per day, not free. There is a very skimpy breakfast which has very small muffins, apples, 2 flavors of Danish and that is it, everything else you have to pay for.

We went with another family and requested an adjoining room months in advance, we had an adjoining room, but not with the family we went down with, we that was the only request we made and never got it. We were 3 rooms away.

The laundry facilities were horrible, 3 washers & 2 dryers - it took 3 hours of coins for the dryer and they still weren't dry! Money grabber - although the location is superb that's about all it has going for it.

I would recommend paying a bit more to stay elsewhere.

The room and the facilities were great. It is right across the street from the main entrance to Disneyland resort and it was a great time for me and my niece. The only negative was half my fault. When leaving I forgot to check the bathroom and I accidentally left my and my niece's swimsuits hanging in the shower. I called the hotel as soon as I realized and they said they found them and they would send them to me. When the package arrived, my swimsuit was in the box, but not my niece's. If mine was found, hers should have been found, too. All in all, though, I would stay there again and I would recommend it to others.

The location is great, right across from the parks, the room was clean and ok and reasonable in size. The staff was friendly, however, they did not have a double room available, as we had booked and they gave us a king with a rollaway instead. The trip was a surprise for my daughter's birthday and she was disappointed that we were squished into a room with a king and a rollaway bed. Other than that, it is an ok place to stay. The location cannot be beat.

I enjoyed our rooms at the Tropicana very much. The hotel staff was great, as we arrived early in the day. They gave us great adjoining rooms and stored our luggage for us till our rooms were ready, and then they had brought our luggage to our rooms for us by the time we got back from the park.

The only complaint I had was having to pay for milk and cereal at the "free continental breakfast". Each item was $1. So, $2 for a bowl of cereal?

Other than that, great.

Great Hotel Across From Disneyland !!!!!. We stayed here 10/26-10/30/05. We had a room on the third floor,great view of Disneyland.It is directly across the street from Disneyland, 5 minute walk to main entrance. We have nothing bad to say about Tropicana Inn, we loved everything about it !! We are going back in February 2007.
