Loved not being at work....Didn't love that the television was in the 'livingroom' and not in our bedroom. I enjoy watching tv in bed at night. Room was clean, staff friendly. We only allowed kids to go in 1 of the 3 pools--others not acceptable to us. Rating is 'good' but, we will try a different place next time. Highly recommend visiting Yoder's Restaurant on Bahia Vista in Sarasota! Best part of vacation!!

NOT WORTH THE MONEYTrue Beach Paradise!!!!. i don't think i haveever stayed at a worse place. the room was dark and dingy,it was positioned so that no sun or daylight came through at all,the furniture was dirty and old and extremely outdated, the place was in bad need of a paint job,the shower did not drain, the bathroom sink did not drain, the kitchen was just gross. checked in late, really didn't have a choice but to stay one night, was awake all night,be careful what you book online, the pictures don't tell the whole story, and its hard to get your money back,we were gone first thing in the morning!!!!!! the beach is horrible,to be at such a beautiful place, and the beach that is offered here at this place is a shame!!! they need to clean the cob webs with the millions of bugs stuck to them off the outside of the building and doors once in awile!!!! all in all i would definatly call this place a true dump!!! very dissappointed!!!
I am not likely
to return to the Tropical Breeze Resort of Siesta Key.
I would not recommend it to friends.

True Beach Paradise!!!!. We were a little hesitant to stay here due to the negative reviews, but were pleasantly surprised after we checked in. They are in the process of renovating the property right down to new plumbing and electrical stuff!! The new rooms are so elegant and clean, I can't wait to come back! Our room was near one of the 3 pools, which was nice. We originally planned on renting a car but realized there was no need since we were right in the middle of the village! We ate a different restaurant every night and all were great. The staff was very helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area and even took the time to show us the entire property. All in all, I would defintely reccomend this hotel to anyone coming to Siesta Key on vacation.

Close to town's main street. This is not really a hotel. This is not really a "hotel." The rooms are in different houses that spread out in a large area. It does not feel like you are in a hotel, rather like you are in a timeshare or renting a room...
