Not Worth the Money – Posted Apr 15, 2009

Mediocre
38 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for business

Great location. Dirty and small room. Much better hotels for less money. Unless you get a great deal overpriced and not up to expectations.

I am not likely to return to the Tribeca Grand Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

We were planning our honeymoon and wanted to stay where we could access the subway, restaurants and other important sights. We also were traveling with our small dog, so a pet friendly hotel was a must. After reviewing many, many hotels, we...

Terrible – Posted Apr 14, 2008

Horrible
38 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I stayed at the Tribeca Grand on 3/29/08 for my 5th Anniversary. It was beyond atrocious. They put us on the second floor, failing to advise us that the atrium (the rooms all overlook the atrium) turns into a nightclub until the wee hours of the morning. Suffice it to say, all of the reasons why you don't want to sleep in a nightclub came true here. Even worse, after agreeing not to charge me for my room, the hotel charged my credit card anyway!!

Avoid this hotel at all costs.

We selected the Tribeca, because it was close to where our daughter lives and works in the SoHo area. We were pleasantly surprised by the cordiality of all the staff and employees that we encountered during our long weekend stay in the city. The...

This is a very cool hotel, with a huge open atrium that holds the hip Church Lounge. The rooms are a little small, but have everything you need and have a European feel. The white noise system is especially nice on busy traffic mornings. The staff...

The Tribeca Grand is a really funky hotel with really interesting decor. It's great for business travelers with all the tech stuff right in the room. It was small, tight space around the bed, but very comfortable and clean. For me the location was...
