Tribeca Grand Hotel

I stayed at the Tribeca Grand on 3/29/08 for my 5th Anniversary. It was beyond atrocious. They put us on the second floor, failing to advise us that the atrium (the rooms all overlook the atrium) turns into a nightclub until the wee hours of the morning. Suffice it to say, all of the reasons why you don't want to sleep in a nightclub came true here. Even worse, after agreeing not to charge me for my room, the hotel charged my credit card anyway!!

Avoid this hotel at all costs.

In general, the staff was friendly and efficient. At night, the phones often didn't get answered for over twenty rings. It's in a great, convenient location. The rooms are a bit small for the price and, although not luxurious, the beds were very comfortable.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: It was very chic and well-designed. The concierge recommended very upscale restaurants. The toiletries were very upscale.

The hotel was great. I really enjoyed the room and amenities that were provided.
