When my husband and I arrived at TI, we reserved a non-smoking room.
However, when we got to the desk, the lady told us that all non-smoking rooms are taken and some will be available the next day. So, we had to stay in a smoking room. You would think they would air the room out or perhaps spray some antibacterial spray when cleaning, but I guess they did not because when we got in, it smelled like someone had just put out a pack of cigarettes. We spent the night there and woke up with itchy eyes and ears and our hair smelled like smoke.
We were finally placed in non-smoking room and during our last night there, we had some very noisy neighbors. I’m thinking college male students because they sounded very young. It was 3 am and yelling, throwing of objects on the floor, a lot of agonizing yells and screams woke my husband and me. I called the security because I truly believed someone was getting beaten out in the hall and the room. Since everyone is pretty drunk out of their minds during that time of the night on a vacation, I really thought someone was getting jumped. I called the security 4 times and the yelling, screaming and painful panting continued well over 30 minutes even when I specifically told the security that someone sounds like they are in pain and I hear things breaking in the next room.
Nobody came up because I was listening for knocking on the door next door and eventually my noisy neighbors settled down or passed out from seriously punching each other and throwing things at each other.
This is definitely the worst service because what if someone was really getting beaten or robbed or raped? Of course, the TI management would say "We were not aware of this".
