40 year old man with a budget

For our Wedding, we wanted our out-of-town guests to stay at an "affordable" hotel. So when we called to block a number of rooms for the 4th through the 9th of July, we found that the Travelodge in Anaheim had the best prices. Little did we know that our whole Honeymoon would be spent trying to retrieve money that the Travelodge laterally stole from us. In May we wanted to reserve 10 rooms for our families to call and individually book for themselves. The front desk Personnel had said that I couldn't do this because they didn't have any rooms. He said the best he could do was 8 rooms. So reluctantly we went ahead and reserved them. We received 8 different confirmation numbers. Two days later a manager called to say that the other man was wrong. I should have been able to get all 10 rooms at that time, I should only have been given 1 confirmation number and that I could get all the rooms for a better price even. So we thought we were happy. About a month later, on the 25th or 26th of June, the manager called us to say that none of the rooms had been booked by any of our families, and if it would be okay if she let the rooms go to other guests so I would not be charged. We said that would be okay and that if we had any questions we would call. Before hanging up we asked again: so we will NOT be charged. Patricia said "No you will not be charged". Immediately after hanging up the phone, my then Fiancé called her father to make sure that he had a room. He said yes that he was all set up at the Travelodge and had his confirmation number. Then she immediately called one of her bridesmaids in Tennessee to make sure that she was set up. She too said that she had a room there and had her confirmation number. So then why were we told that NO ONE had booked a room under the name we used when we have two people that say they did. So this means that the other 8 rooms that were not booked should have been released. However, my bride's father made reservations for the 5th through the 9th, he ended up needing the 4th too. So on the day of the 4th he tried to check in a day early. They turned him down saying that they were COMPLETELY booked. Now if the rooms that we originally reserved weren't "let go", then checking in a day early should have been no problem seeing as how the days we reserved the rooms for were the 4th through the 9th. This means that they not only let other guests book those rooms, they also charged us for them. So they got double there money on 8 rooms. Now, if our check out date was on the 9th, then we should have been charged by the 9th. We weren't charged until the 11th. The Travelodge also should have called to say that they were making the charges. Now, after the total charges of $717.64 have been made unknowingly to our account, and caused our rent check to bounce with bank fees of $30.00 and rent penalties of $35.00, we are desperately trying to resolve this matter. But now the manager says that she doesn't remember us telling her to let the rooms go, however, I have a Bridesmaid in Tennessee that remembers and a Father who remembers the call about the reservations. What tips the cake is that there is never a manager there to talk to when you need one. A manager should be on call 24-7 as with any hotel. This is NOT how we wanted to spend our Honeymoon.

39 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I would recommend this hotel due to great service and excellent pricing. It's very helpful to buy Disney tickets in the lobby.

I am very likely to return to the Travelodge at the Park Anaheim.
I might recommend it to friends.

The staff was very helpful and very professional. At the Travelodge near Disneyland, service was great. When we first checked-in, we were needing a lot of things extra, and the front desk guy was more than willing to help us, and he was the only one on staff at the time, being that it was during the night. We had a very comfortable stay, and we would definitely visit again.

This hotel made me feel content: They were very helpful with all of our needs. They answered all questions to the best of their knowledge.

I am very likely to return to the Travelodge at the Park Anaheim.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
