Travelodge University of Washington Motel - Page 1

We found the room to be very nice and appreciated the little refrigerator and microwave. The only thing that would be even better is if they had transport between motel and UDUB.

This is the Travelodge, very close to the University of Washington, located across the street from the University Village (a group of shops..REI,The Gap, North Face, Barnes-n-Noble, QFC, restaurants, boutiques, etc.)

I do not recommend staying there. I informed mgt. of our check-in time and was assured all would be well. Arrived to find "our" room hadn't been cleaned. Had to wait 1.5 hrs. more for this to happen! Third day, we left for sightseeing only to return at 4:00PM to find our room "not cleaned" again...no sheet change, no garbage pick up, no nothing! This fact, coupled with the front desk lady's "attitude" made for an unpleasant experience. She's got glasses, a short-crop haircut, buckteeth, and glasses in case you run into her...say "Go to H-ll" for me!

The hotel made a error when taking my reservation -- and I was charged extra because of it! I ended up having to pay an addition $115 because of their mistake! They basically ignored all my arguments, and they ignored the Better Business Bureau who I contacted to settle to dispute on my behalf.

The place was not where the location online said it was suppose to be. I had to travel by taxi to get back and forth due to the location. The hotel was overpriced for the services and where it was located. The continental breakfast was poor.
