Travelodge Suites Main Gate

Check in was easy; room was clean; employees were extremely nice; it was quiet (ie., no outside noise; no rowdy rooms, etc).....Great pool; Excellent Continental breakfIast.....Hotel was flexible insofar as we checked out a day early and they had no problem deducting our rate; front desk gave us plenty of information and were willing to help in everyway. There are those out there who say "Never stay in a hotel less than 3 stars." The Travelodge Maingate was rated a 2, which is DEAD WRONG; they deserve at least a 3 1/2 or 4. If you want an excellent rate at an excellent hotel, pick this one. I'm/we're sort of picky and at least would tell you every single thing we found to be wrong with the hotel. there was nothing to complain about; in fact, for the rate you pay, you're actually recieving twice as much as you pay for. Thank you Travellodge; you're the best!

We stayed here for 13 days, while the room was clean when we checked in, the housekeeping left something to be desired. Everyday it was something else. No toilet paper, cups, changing the sheets, vacuuming, cleaning the bathtub and sinks. We had to go to the office everyday to get these taken care of. I definitely would not recommend the hassle. We would have left and moved elsewhere but after spending the day at the park we just didnt have the energy to pack and leave. We did express our concerns to the manager, and he seemed to get annoyed, and even had the audacity to lie, saying that he watched them vaccum and change the sheets. If he did then why was the same black mark on the sheet after it was changed. This property has the potential to be a nice place, but unfortunately the housekeepers just try to not do very much. And if you bother to check, we stay at Travelodge several times a year and belong to trip rewards, and we have never been in a worse Travelodge. This property is so mismanaged it shouldn't have Travelodge on it.

The pillows and beds were worn and uncomfortable. The paint and wallpaper were past due for a remodel. The outside appearance was weathered looking. The pool could have been cleaner.

They gave us a weekly rate for the entire stay, a good room with a refrigerator and a microwave. I would stay there again if given this great rate again.

This hotel made me feel content: The room was cleaned without hassle and we were comfortable.

It was a great hotel experience, better than expected for the price.
