Travelodge Sandusky Hotel

This place was horrible. The rooms were very musty smelling, and our friends who were also staying had to change rooms because of the smell. Their belonging were also taken by the cleaning staff (nothing big, just small items), and the front desk staff was unable to help. I was afraid to let my belongings or bare feet touch the floor because it was covered in dust and dirt. Our room had spiders up in the corners, and you could hear everything the person in the next room was doing. The shuttles that are provided were 45 minutes late picking us up in the morning, and on the FIRST run of the evening they were more than 45 minutes late again (we had to find another shuttle to take). If you want my advice...pay $20 more to stay at the Marriott next door.

This place is a dump...stay away, will never return.

The front desk was understaffed when we arrived. The first room we were given already had other people's belongings in it. The carpet was damp and linens had been washed but did not appear clean.

It was a very comfortable stay and the hotel was nicely located for where we were visiting. The staff was pleasant and shuttles were available, so we did not have to drive.

The service was good and the room was comfortable. The hotel was close to Cedar Point and shopping.
