The hotel was only a few blocks away from the River walk location. It was within walking distance and we felt it safe to walk at night.The hotel refused to reimburse us for our first night, as our flights were canceled and we slept in the airport....

This is obviously an older downtown property, but it is reasonably clean and comfortable. The mattress was saggy in the middle, but not uncomfortable. The location is convenient to the Alamodome, the Alamo and other downtown sites--within walking...
65 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I disliked the poor maintenance of the rooms. They need new bed covers and slip covers as well as fresh paint. They served a nice average free breakfast.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Travelodge San Antonio-Alamo/Riverwalk/Conv. Ctr..
