Travelodge Middletown Motel - Page 1

It's nice. It's not too far from Boston, Massachusetts or Newport, Rhode Island. However, it is pretty far from Providence, Rhode Island.

This hotel made me feel respected: They were friendly when I checked in and they did a really good job keeping the rooms and bathrooms clean. They were gracious too.

I really believe that the room was way too over priced for what we got. The room was not very clean or nice. Additionally, the door handle was in need of repair, because it would not work all he time. Finally the TV remote control stopped working while we were trying to use it. I would not recommend that location or Travelodge to another.

My stay at this place was for the most part good. But I was a little unhappy that this Travelodge was more like sleeping in a motel, because of the way that you enter the room from the outside.

The location was right on the main road, making it easy to find, but somewhat difficult to pull into and get out of because of traffic. The bathroom had outdated appliances and fixtures, but it was clean, seemingly sanitary, and in working order. There was a pool, but I did not have time to go into it. There were others by the pool, and it did look like a nice place to relax. The hotel clerk was friendly, but not overly enthusiastic. I would have felt safer if I had a room on the second floor, as my room faced the parking lot on the first floor.
