I was on a roadtrip from IL down to Miami Fl for a cruise. My family and I had been to all of the nicer hotels that were all booked. The Travelodge was the our last resort. The minute we pulled into the parking lot I had a feelig that it was a nasty
This place was super clean. If your looking for a no-frills motel close to the E-way this is a winner. I stopped here due to a sign showing "Manager Special $45.00" which to my surprise was true. No upcharge for two people, two beds or for being

Great rooms.Faster WiFi.“We decided to stay at this place on a whim. We were tired of driving and decided there was no way we would make it to Pensacola Beach that day. Anyway, on our two week vacation this was probably one of the, if not the, best...

26 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I stopped at two other hotels in Lake City that were booked before I settled on this one out of desperation. The lobby was clean enough, the receptionist was nice, and the rate was cheap...but the compliments end there. As soon as I opened the door to the room I wanted to run away, but was to exhausted from driving all day. I bolted the door shut and shoved the table up against it...but I think I would have been safer on the street. The carpet was disgusting, I wore my shoes the whole time. I felt like things were crawling on me and I was too creeped out to even pull back the bed spread and look under the covers. The shower head was covered in gunk and I felt even dirtier after taking a shower. The wi fi internet connection was not the greatest. There was a hair clippie, a 10 year old toy from McDonald's, gigantic dust bunnies, and many other unrecognizable objects behind the bed. "Well, at least I get a free continental breakfast" , I thought. This breakfast consisted of stale honey buns and crappy coffee. For sure one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. If you make it to Lake City, just keep on driving to Gainesville!

It was ok. I just needed a place to stop for the night and I could stay either there or at the Econo Lodge hotel. It was a little pricey for what it had to offer.
Plenty of security cameras were quite noticeable.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Travelodge Lake City.
I might recommend it to friends.
