I stayed here for recovery after breast cancer surgery. I was attracted by recent glowing reviews on price and room comfort, but the staff/management was a whole different story.
After lighting an incense, I was immediately phoned by the front desk at 11:45pm and accused of "smoking" in the room. I was ordered to pack up all my belongings and leave within 15 minutes or the police would be called to escort me out.
At this point, I was only 2 days post-op surgery and wasn't able to lift anything over 5 lbs, but I had to struggle as they didn't offer to help me but just watched as I fumbled, dropped, and had to strain to pick up several suitcases.
I was then fined $150 for "smoking" and left out on the street at midnight in a strange town that was not in a decent neighborhood.
They must have saw me "light up" from the hidden cameras inside of the rooms. Beware! There are other bad reviews of this place on several sites, some of which people have pending lawsuits with this place.

Ramada should be ashamed. Check-in time is 3:00 but there was a hand written sign taped over that sign saying 4:30.The staff is rude and there is a dirty, stinky, barking dog roaming the lobby and breakfast area. We had no towels, sheets, or pillow cases. They brought us wet towels and handed me the sheets and pillow cases expecting me to make the bed. The bathroom was covered in mold. Mold was around the entire sink, the base of the toilet, shower, shower curtain, and the shower curtain rod was broken and mold was growing from the inside out. The carpet was filthy and the furniture is scratched, dented, and dirty.
Their breakfast consisted of fruit loops, 3 stale bagels, and a bunch of green bananas. No coffee or milk. There is also a sign posted stating there is a $20.00 fine if you remove any food from the breakfast area. We asked for a new room but they claimed they had nothing else. If we had not paid for it already we would have left.
The rooms are loud and there is also no parking. I don't think you can find a worse place to stay.

The night clerk was friendly and helpful, and the room was large and quiet and the water saver shower head was a good one. Everything else was awful.
There were cigarette ashes left in the sink, this was suppose to be a non-smoking room, most of the room was rather run down, I had to plug in microwave to get it to work, the furniture and A/C were old and not taken care of, I only looked at the pool at a distance since the walk to get to it was rather gross, the morning clerk was not friendly and even seemed a bit gruff, I got to breakfast at 8:45 just before it stopped at 9:00 and found most everything gone and the milk getting warm, and the toaster was not working. I could go on, but this will give you an idea of our experience at this Ramada.

Never again will we stay at this hotel! It's not that the rooms are that bad, but the service from the women there in the mornings and early afternoon is just awful. She is rude and her refusal to honor a rate given to us led us to check-out and...

This is the filthiest hotel I have ever been to. The staff/management is very unfriendly, arrogant and rude to the core. Though I has a confirmed reservation almost a month before I actually visited San Diego, I had to wait for more than an hour...
